ACTIVITIES
At our campsite, adults and children can enjoy a wide range of activities. Swimming, fishing, football, walking or jogging on nice hiking trails in the woods, renting boats or taking a football match on our sports ground, just to mention a few. With us, the children can also unwind at the edge of the beach and use their imagination in play. Below you will find more information about the activities we can offer.
Activities in the Region
The region around the campsite is full of exciting experiences just waiting for you. Here is a list of activities and experiences you need to experience while on your visit.

Beach
We have a 500 m long shoreline with a swimming pond with a sandy beach for the smaller children. There is also a deeper swimming pond for the biggeer children where there is also a floating dock. We also have a very popular big yellow inflatable bath trampoline near the swimming ponds

Big Playground
We also have a large playground; with two trampolines, big climbing tower, new big sandbox, carousels, animal springers, regular swings, bird nest swing, Teeter-Totters and a new jungle gym that was set up in the autumn of 2016. No child will feel bored here. On the northern shore there is also a playground house and a jungle gym with slide. All this right next to a great beach.

Sports Ground
Between the campsite and the main road there is a large sports groun d that can be used for soccer and other ball games.

Fishing
Because we are located at the shore line of Mjøsa, there are very good fishing opportunities. Fish from land, in Mjøsa by boat or in the lower part of Stokkelva river completely free. Here you can get trout, perch, whitefish, harrow and pike. Rent a boat from the receptin and try to catch the famous mjøs trout lake in Mjøsa.

Boats
Here you can rent paddle boats, canoes and rowing boats. Perfect for those who want to enjoy themselves on Mjøsa on a nice summers night, for those who want to get the big fish on the hook or for those who need to keep energetic children busy.

Hiking
There are nice hiking trails connected to the campsite. Ideal for jogging or walking. We will send you a map at the reception desk or you can download the map pdf onto your phone or tablet. You can also find two nice waterfalls in connection to the trails, Moafallet and Høgfallfall waterfall. There is also an old mill dating back to 1413 opposite the Høgfallfall which might be interesting to check out.

Biking Opportunities
It is nice to ride along Stokkelva. Take the first road to the left above Redalen School. It is also terrific to ride over Mjøsbrua and towards Ringsaker church. For those who like to ride up steep hills, just turn left at the exit of the campsite and follow the bicycle signs up towards Kollstoppen. Here you get a wonderful view of Mjøsa and from there roll down towards Gjøvik.
